I am praying your first class went well! Some of you may have already filled up, but others may still have room. If so, keep asking the Lord to send you the women and men he has called to your class. Continue to contact those who have expressed interest and let them know it is not too late to join.

While some of you are veteran leaders, many of you are brand new this year and struggling to find everything you need in the right book and figure out what you’re supposed to do each week. I promise you that things will all begin to fall into place after you’ve led your group a few times.

Your investment of time each week doing your own Journey Steps and going over the questions will pay big dividends when it is time to lead your group. Being familiar with each week’s materials will fight the fear you may be having. The Lord is faithful, and he will not let you down. He is going to guide you each week and lead your group. Remember that he is your EVERYTHING!

Tip of the Week:
Do not put more than 7 people (including apprentices but excluding leaders) in your group. Seven in a group is actually a large group and a challenge to effectively process. A group of 5 or 6 is easier to manage. A group of 8 or more DOES NOT work in Healing Journey. You cannot process more than 7 people with our time frame of one hour. Your most vulnerable and needy students will be the first to quit due to the lack of safety that is experienced in a larger group. Also, it is not possible to get through 8 stories on week 7. Don’t compromise this ministry—keep your groups to 7 or less.
