To Healing Journey Leaders:
Welcome to the weekly Leadership Letter for small‑group leaders in the Healing Journey Class. This letter is just for you. It was borne out of leaders expressing a desire to feel more connected to the ministry beyond your class and to receive ongoing support as you lead. I want you to know I’ve been praying for you throughout the summer and will continue to lift you up as we move into this new year together.
I know firsthand how crazy and challenging the first weeks of Healing Journey can be. You’re working hard to get registrations finalized, encouraging people to make a decision, and hoping they actually show up and begin the class. And layered on top of all that, you may be wrestling with your own nerves or uncertainties. These early weeks are stressful whether you’re brand‑new or a seasoned veteran.
Please remember that the Lord is for you. He birthed this ministry, and the journey of healing belongs to him—it’s not mine and it’s not yours. He invites us to show up, ask the questions, and respond with acceptance and grace, but the battle is his. He is the one who heals, restores, and transforms.
“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” Romans 8:31–32 (NIV)
So lean into God the Father and let him go before you, smoothing your path and guiding every detail. Trust him with each person who walks through your door.
Thank you for being willing to offer the Healing Journey Class. Because of your faithfulness, more people will have the opportunity to receive healing this year. What a beautiful gift you are giving.
…Relax and enjoy the journey.

Tip of the Week:
Help your new students feel comfortable and confident by being organized and ready each week. Become thoroughly familiar with the Leader Guide and, if you’re also facilitating, the Class Facilitator Manual. Review your lists, announcements, and forms so you can lead smoothly and without scrambling. When you read the Statement of Understanding, emphasize the importance of confidentiality and express your desire for the class to be a truly safe place for everyone. And don’t forget—collect payment as soon as someone commits to taking the class. The two‑week, money‑back guarantee works like a charm. Your preparation and clarity will help students relax and engage fully in their healing journey.
