2025 / 2026 Leader Letter Week 27
|

To Healing Journey Leaders:
|
These final weeks of Healing Journey are rich and important. As you teach Lesson 27, The Battle for Our Thoughts, your group will continue working through Healing Step 4. Just as in Weeks 17 and 21, Lesson 27 ends with a participatory prayer inviting students to forgive an offender. Week 28 will be their final opportunity to process Healing Step 4.

This is also the week students begin writing the summary of their healing journey, using their Journal of Significant Thoughts. Please give strong encouragement for this assignment. They have two weeks to prepare.

This summary is the centerpiece of Week 29—and it is always a tremendous blessing to hear how the Lord has worked in each person’s life through the class. It doesn’t need to be polished or lengthy; a few paragraphs or a handful of bullet points is perfect.

|

Be sure you have your Super Simple Evaluations printed and ready to hand out during the break. Give students 5–10 minutes to complete them, then collect them before they go to small groups. Do not let them take it home. These evaluations are for you, so feel free to tailor them to your needs.
