To Healing Journey Leaders:

You are almost at the end now! Week 28 is a little different because I am reviewing all the Healing Steps and how to use them after the class is finished. This is important information for students because the temptation always exists to walk away for good when a class is over, and we certainly don’t want that to happen! Healing Journey teaches tools for a lifetime. Since we are never finished with painful events (we wish!), we must continue to use these effective tools to remain in our freedom.

It gave me great joy to have some brothers come and tell about your faithfulness to the truth and how you continue to walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth (3 John 3 NIV).

The Aftercare section of the Healing Journey Student Manual contains the main tools taught in the various units. (The Flip Book also includes these tools, plus a whole lot more, and is available on our website for $8.) Make sure everyone in your small group is acquainted with the Aftercare section and understands they have permission to make copies of these pages for personal use.
|
This week is a good time to encourage students to take the class again. It is likely that the Lord has a lot more healing planned for them if they stick with it. Healing takes time! Now that the process and the steps are familiar, the next time through can be even more fruitful.

Tip of the Week:
- Please provide a Bible Reading Box for every student. These can be purchased from our website for $5 or you can make one for each student. We have a men’s and women’s design. (See Class Facilitator Manual, page 40.) Also check out our newest option: Bible Reading Stones ($20)!
- The Super Simple Evaluation needs to be filled out by anyone who was not in class last week.
- Encourage students to continue to work on their summary from their Journal of Significant Thoughts in preparation for Week 29.
- Be sure to have Boot Camp Information Forms for your students (available on our website).
- And, finally, continue to provide your marketing packets (a flyer with next year’s class details and contact information, a His Healing Light Ministries’ brochure, and a Curriculum Outline) every week until you are done.
